Elite Editing meets you with dark design and a short list of their advantages. They claim to provide editing services for authors, students and businesses. I wasn’t sure if one company can be good enough at all possible types of editing, but after I’ve checked the prices and saw they’re online 24/7, I decided to try.

Price Policy

You can find out the price by clicking on ‘Get an instant quote’ button on the front page. I found out that my 3 pages in 3 days would cost around $27. They also offered me advanced editing at $80 with some extra features, but I really didn’t see the reason it this. The price calculator isn’t very convenient, however; it’s more convenient to use one like on  this Site where you don’t need to reload the page for different options.

Order Details

The reason I came to this site was I wanted to make a go of my admission essay. The process of submitting the instructions is really fast, there are not endless forms to fill in. I’ve proceeded with payment and forgot about it for a while.

Quality of writing and support

Two days later I decided to check the progress of my editing order. As there wasn’t chat on the site, I emailed them. It was really disappointing that I was answered in 3 hours only. They said that the editor was finishing his work and was assured that my deadline wouldn’t be missed. They didn’t miss the deadline indeed. However, the paper I got was rather proofread than edited.

Conclusion

The editor only corrected mistakes and style, while the editing can involve changing the content if necessary. I contact them again to clarify and was answered that I was welcome to buy advanced editing if I wanted in-depth changes. I was kind of upset by this fact and wasn’t going to overpay again. They could have called the first package ‘proofreading’, not ‘editing’ as proofreading is what they really do.
